India in Europe USA Rivalry: INDIA AS HONEST BROKER: Only India can act as broker between USA and Europe. Whenever the United Europe would become an independent player in the international politics, India would be an asset to United Europe in its rivalry with the United States. Once Europe completes the humiliation of Russia, it would become hostile to the United States.

INDIA AS A BALANCER: It makes the role of India as the Balancer of the World very interesting. India is neither in the US, nor in the European camp. Who knows, the Big Clown India may become a real Balancer in the world. The Britain played the role of European Balancer, in the 19th Century Europe. India should help United Europe in taming the United States, so that the United States remains one among the equals, equal to Britain, France, Germany or Russia. India as a Big Clown should continue using its charms as snake charmer to maintain the Balance of Power in the world. India may love its Star status and project lofty ideals in diplomatic tunes to tame dangerous snakes and enjoy the benefits and power of the second Super Power.

TAMING THE SUPER POWER: India as the new Super Star has a dirty job to do. The job is to tame the Super Power USA. The world is fed up with the Bully USA. Europe wants India to play this role. Nevertheless, this new found Stardom should not blind India to the fact that this is a highly risky venture. At any cost, India should avoid gored to death by the raging Bull USA. For successfully playing this diplomatic role, India should learn the best tricks of the Spanish Matadors and the best tunes of the Indian Snake Charmers. India gains nothing by befriending the United States. India should align with France and Germany, the two Great Powers of Europe. India-France and India-Germany alliance will help the United Europe regain its lost glory.

America is the Sole Super Power

The Cold War was over with the disintegration of the Soviet Union. Suddenly with a bang, the Bipolar World became Unipolar World. Then the United States became Sole Super Power of the World.

REAGAN-PAPAL ALLIANCE: President Reagan's Alliance with Vatican Papacy played a very important role in the disintegration of the Evil Communism in the Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. The Christian factor, as the policy determinant in the US foreign Policy has already become dangerously predominant enough, to suggest the emergence of a New Christian American Roman Empire headed by the United States. The United Europe (UE) is uneasy over the growing strategic alliance between the United States and Catholic Papacy. Let us remember that Germany was the land of Reformation. The Supra Nationalism of the United Europe is on a collusion course with the Papal ideal of Christian Super State. The ideals of the United Europe (UE) are the antitheses of the Vatican goal of Holy European Empire.

EUROPE WOULD CLIP AMERICA'S WINGS: With the Eastward expansion of NATO, the USA has ceased to be a positive factor in the European security. Expanded United Europe needs to be equidistant from USA and Russia. The very success of the United States’ makes United States less relevant to the United Europe. The success of the policy of Star Wars, political alliance of Reagan with Pope John Paul II to overthrow Communism, and President Clinton's policy of eastward expansion of NATO, has made the United States irrelevant for European Balance of Power. The United Europe would diplomatically use the USA-India confrontation to clip the powerful wings of the United States.

Russia Supports India

India's Super Power role has the full support of Russia. While Russia is dependent on US aid and guarantees, India has no option but to act this role of the Balancer to maintain the Balance of Power in New Bipolar World. If Indian Diplomacy rises to the occasion, then it is possible that Russia will share its Super Power status with India, as India would indirectly promote Russian interests. India takes the heat of confrontation with the US, while Russia develops economic linkages with the United Europe, to widen the Euro-US rifts. Indian and Russian strategic interests coincide. India has no option but to grow fast to fit in the Big Nuclear Shoes. Russia supports India. Neither China nor Britain nor France can replace India as the second Pole, the Balancer and the second Super Power of the New Bipolar World.

Effect of US Sanctions on India:

United States would lose more by imposing sanctions on India. The unholy USA-China Alliance and the surreptitious transfers of Missile, Rocket and Satellite technology to China in violation of the US Laws have enabled China to target its ICBM arsenal toward major European and American targets. China has overtaken France and Britain in ICBM Missile technology, with the transfer of classified military technology by American companies to China.

DOWNFALL OF THE USA: Failure of President Clinton to lift Sanctions against India unfolds historical forces, reminiscent of the fall of Berlin Wall. It will cause irreparable damage to the US-NATO Alliance and could speed up the downfall of the USA as the dominant Super Power. They would soon entangle America in European intrigues resulting in the Brutus United European castration of the Caesar USA.

USA LEADS EUROPE: The rebellions of the European leaders at the May 1998 G-8 Summit give us following signals. Just as Russia lost its leadership of the Eastern Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the United States would also lose its privileged leadership of the First World after the Indian Nuclear Blasts.

USA IS UNFIT TO LEAD UNITED EUROPE: European diplomatic heritage looks down upon the unilateral decisions of the United States as detrimental to the national interest of European powers. Like the fall of the Berlin Wall, US sanctions on India would break up the Western alliance and a new diplomatic order will emerge in Europe. Anti-India policy of the US would cost the US, the loss of its moral leadership of the Europe and the free capitalist world.

India’s Foreign Policy Options:

Indian would help United Europe emerge as Super Power; similar to the role Indian Army played in the British Indian Empire. India could provide its Army to support United Europe in its future conflicts. India should exploit the latent fear of Germany against any future American preemptive nuclear strikes. Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand has fallen victim to American neocolonialism. America intends to colonize Southeast Asia to protect Australia from any hostile Asian invasion. The spiraling foreign debt burden of Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand could be a part of Pentagon Policy to force ASEAN countries accept a neo-colonial status under the leadership of the United States. Not long ago the Philippines ended the military base agreement with the United States. Had Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand rejected American advice and economic prescriptions, their economy would have been robust. The ASEAN nations should accept India's leadership to regain their economic independence. Asia must reject American model of economic development, accept Indian leadership, and reconvene Bandung Conference. American Economic Prescriptions, forced upon Asian countries, under American pressure, destroyed the ASEAN economies. Southeast Asia has become an American Colony. America is destroying the Asian economies to protect Australia from any Asian invasion. Would the United States encourage China to assume Colonial type control over Indonesia and Malaysia to delay Chinese invasions of Australia?

DESTRUCTION IN VIETNAM WAR: The United States militarily destroyed Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia by dropping more bombs over Vietnam than were dropped throughout the Second World War. United States Air Force used the chemical weapons including the Agent Orange in Vietnam War, to destroy the Vietnam forests. American has supported Christian Khmer Rouge soldiers who committed genocide of Buddhist Cambodians. United States and the West support the Christian leaders of Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot's Army who had committed genocide of Buddhists. The Khmer Rouge would launch a second round of genocide in Cambodia. America had fought in the Vietnam War primarily to protect Australia's from hostile Chinese invasions and to promote Christian conversions in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

GREATER INDIA: South East Asia was a part of South Indian Hindu Empires for centuries. Whatever is common among the Asian nations is the direct impact of Indian culture. Without the Indian Culture component of South East Asian Civilizations, nothing would provide any sense of unity or commonness among Southeast Asians.

India is Huge Importing Market

The ASEAN nations would recognize Nuclear India as the legitimate responsible nuclear weapon power. The Indian domestic market is potentially the world's second largest importing economy. The world needs importing nations, with huge domestic markets, to bail out the export driven ASEAN economies. The United States should not only lift sanctions against India, but also give India huge credits to buy ASEAN consumer goods. It would catapult India into post-industrial age and information technology age. It enhances the buying power of its huge middle class that will save ASEAN economies.

CHINA-USA CANNOT PURCHASE ALL ASEAN GOODS: Only India has the huge domestic market, big enough to keep the industrial plants of the Asian Tigers running, enabling them to pay for foreign loans invested in their plants. Only India could absorb ASEAN consumer goods in vast quantities that dying Asian Tigers need to export to avoid economic meltdown. Neither China nor USA could buy everything that ASEAN Asian tigers must sell, because China is also the exporter of similar goods. Even the US manufacturing sector would die if USA imports the entire surplus capacity of ASEAN consumer goods manufacturers. Sooner the United States forgets its anger over Indian nuclear blasts and recognizes India as Second Super Power, better it would be for ASEAN?

INDIA DOES NOT DEPEND ON EXPORTS: The domestic market of India is second only to USA about its untapped capacity to absorb imported consumer goods. Neither the US nor India depends on exports for economic development as both have huge domestic markets.

CHINA AND JAPAN ARE BOTH EXPORTERS: China and Japan are big exporting powers and they gear their economies for exports and their protected domestic markets help finance many profitless exports. China has dumped goods in the foreign markets at non-remunerative prices to earn foreign exchange and to bring in new foreign investments.

SUPER BUYING MARKETS: Besides huge domestic markets of India and USA, there is no big market, to play the role of Super Buying Power. United States realizes that it could not abandon its manufacturing sector, just to provide a huge market for ASEAN consumer goods. It would also imperil the Super Power status and the national security of the USA. The US economy could also collapse, triggering the 1929 type Depression, if the United States overreaches itself to fit extra ASEAN imports.

HUGE INDIAN MIDDLE CLASS: Luckily India has the second largest middle class in the world that clamors for an unlimited amount of foreign consumer goods. India is a huge market, but India lacks advance consumer manufacturing industry, as its middle class is very hungry for foreign goods. Vast quantities of ASEAN consumer goods once imported into India would catapult India into the Post-Industrial Information Technology Age. Information Technology enables Indian middle classes to export IT software services. India's Information Technology (IT) exports would pay for ASEAN consumers good imports into India.

INDIA'S INFORMATION SERVICE ECONOMY: Perhaps for the good of ASEAN economies IMF should help India make a quantum jump into the Post-Industrial Information Technology service society. Indian Information Technology (IT) services providers, could become a long-term captive market, for ASEAN consumer goods manufacturers. The United States should make large investments in India to finance an information technology sector that would earn foreign exchange by exporting Information technology services, to provide a long term Super Market for the dying ASEAN Tigers. Asian Tiger economies could export themselves out of their economic mess, by exporting to India provided IMF finances India to avoid ASEAN meltdown.

INFORMATION AGE ECONOMY: United States realizes that only, the post-industrial, information age Indian economy could buy huge quantities of consumer goods manufactured by ASEAN industrial economies. India as a very consuming power could become a very long-term huge captive market for ASEAN made consumer goods. Information Age Indian economy would open new demands for new communications components, leading to new investments in ASEAN industries. Indian IT professional is not a competition to the ASEAN professional, as few ASEAN nations have a vast reservoir of English speaking, Physicists and scientists. Southeast Asia cannot produce a very number of IT professionals, necessary for playing a significant role in IT Age.

Ponzi Schemes Collapsed Asean:

Ponzi Schemes financed the economic expansion of the Asian Tigers. Large US importers arranged and guaranteed the foreign bank loans for industrial investments in the Asian Paper Tiger economies, in return for consumer goods, at profitless non-remunerative prices. US importers and chain stores made windfall profits by these cheap imports. ASEAN manufacturer exporters did not care, as they did not intend to repay the loans. CEOs of the US Corporation did not care, while their companies made huge profits and stock market share prices soared. How long can US banks and corporations carry the dead investments in ASEAN nations as assets? US big importers are the real culprits for ASEAN meltdown. All foreign investments and IMF loans advanced to corrupt ASEAN countries are going down the drain. The foreign capital invested in ASEAN would soon be lost if ASEAN meltdown continues. In that event, the US economy may also enter a recession. IMF loan guarantees to Indonesia, Korea, Thailand is counterproductive and the capital so invested would get lost in the corrupt ASEAN system. On the contrary, these funds be given to India to buy ASEAN goods.

India and IT Service Economy:

So the USA and IMF have no option but to invest in India, to finance Indian imports of ASEAN consumer and capital goods. These capital goods imports would transform India into the post-industrial Information Technology Service Economy. Information Technology (IT) Service Sector would enhance the purchasing power of service industry professionals. ASEAN Tigers would recover once IMF and USA give large loans to India. The increased buying power would allow India to import the export surpluses of Asia's dying Tigers. Only rich India can save Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand from total economic meltdown.

BUYING POWER OF INDIAN MIDDLE CLASS: The world has no option but to tap the buying power of the Indian economy to bail out the exporting economies of Asia. Neither China, nor Japan, nor Germany can import huge ASEAN imports, as all three economies export similar products and cannot afford to absorb ASEAN goods, without destabilizing their own economies. USA also cannot blindly absorb the ASEAN imports, as it would cause the death of US manufacturing sectors. Therefore, USA has no option but to woo India, and reward India with huge credits to bail out the ASEAN exporters

India’s Foreign Policy Options:

ADVERTISE GREATER INDIAN EMPIRE ASIA: India should publicize the historical maps to highlight the extent of Hindu Kingdoms of Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. India should publicize the Rule of South Indian Hindu Empires in South East Asia. India should publicize Chinese threats to Indonesia and Australia. India should project that historically India played a far more important role in Southeast Asia than China.

INDIA SHOULD JOIN ASEAN: India should challenge the ASEAN westward expansion toward South Asia to include Burma while excluding India. India should intervene in Burma to oppose the military regime. Buddhist monks demand political role in Burma. The democratically elected Catholic leader Mrs. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, is currently imprisoned in Burma. India and China could fight over influence in Burma. India should militarily intervene to bust the heroine trade in Burma. India should argue that Nicobar Islands, which is only 100+ miles from the northern tip of Sumatra, makes India a South East Asian power.

DISINTEGRATION OF INDONESIA: India should carry out the policy of Divide and Rule in South East Asia. India should promote the disintegration of Indonesia and Malaysia. India should support the secession of Christian East Timor from Muslim Indonesia. India should promote the secession of predominantly Hindu Bali Islands from the Muslim Indonesia.

INDIA-CAMBODIA-VIETNAM DEFENSE PACT: India should intervene in Cambodia to prosecute the soldiers of Pol Pot/ Khmer Rouge for Crimes of Genocide. India should develop military bases in Cambodia. India should sign a Defense Pact with Vietnam.
