Parents accused of selling teenage girl

A teenaged girl has accused her parents of selling her to a man for Rs 35,000 in the guise of marriage. A court in the Capital has given the custody of the girl to a destitutes home here disregarding her fathers pleas for her custody.
The girl, now lodged in Nirmal Chayya here, told the court that she was taken to Patna and sold to a middle-aged man in the name of marriage, her counsel Shalini Saxena alleged.
However, her parents have contended that she had eloped with a neighbour. They also contradicted her claim that she was an illiterate.
In fact a month after the said marriage she escaped from the man and reached her parents home in East Delhi where they refused to take her in, the counsel alleged. Angered by her own parents refusal, the girl stormed out of her home.
I dont want to see my parents, who had at first sold me and later connived to send me back to my unhappiness, the counsel quoted the girl as having told the court.
A missing report was filed on the November 12 by her parents at Anand Vihar police station. On coming to know of it, the girl surrendered in court on her counsels advice.
She came to me and told me that she wanted a lady lawyer to tell the court her side of the story, her counsel said. According to the counsel, the girl told the court that she was 18 years.
When the court asked her to produce documentary proof of her age, the victim stated that no one keeps records of births in our village in Bihar, the counsel added.

Aren't you aware that NCW is not for women's right ? In reality, NCW is for raging a war against men. NCW is here only to give legal rights to women to torture men. There are lot many less-than-men out there who support women only on the basis of fabricated reports that NCW presents to the Government. As long as these less-than-men aren't accused of 498A dowry harassment, these less-than-men will continue to contribute in destroying our society. Besides, Media people's tail goes inside their ass when it comes to women issues. I wish all these media people and politicians should be accused of 498A and only then they will realise how agonising it is. Indian Women Moordaabaad.

i know many men has no right to talk at home, they are so scared to raise single word against wife. if he do so, one guy says.

Now who the hell said that India has a patriarchy society ? Bring that person to me, I will extract all dead cells from his/her brain. Where are these women's organisation hiding now when we are ready to debate with them over this ? I guess they are now shit scared.
