This is ridicules
I am a 22yr male. I agree to the sufferings of women's in India. But wat has been stated in this article is something which is not at all possible. Such a paranoid will twist the whole system dats happening in India. There will be no balance in anyone's life. Women will spoil their lives themselves.
I mean to say is dat all matters against the in-laws are OK but howcome boy-friend come in picture, when a women is already een married, again i m talking abt "boy-friends" not about true friends(even of opposite sex).

we are not subordinate to our husbands or his family,in india for women to get divorce is not difficult, you can get it in 6 months period, and same if your husband apply, they will take 7 years, if you are not present in the court.
tell me, you want divorce or just want to harass your husband,so he can listen to you, and do as you say.

indian women do Right only.
Why not..? as per indian law, whatever indian women do is Right.
if she die herself within 7 years of marriage, police arrest her husband, thinking he murderd her.
if a women cry and tell anything false at court or police they beleive her,but Even after man shows proofs, they will not beleive that women has commited crime.
Even man has not taken any dowry, Even gave wedding Expensus, he will charged with dowry case, and burdon of proofs lies on men, women 2 tears will do the tricks and land husband all family members in jail, without Bail.
coz Law always think, indian womens are victims not villians.

Beware !!!!! Never Go Against LAW...
You are very right
... I tried to raise voice against the LAW made by LAW authorities in India- My parents and relatives had to spend days behind bars. Indian Police system is so very efficient and honest I didnt know until my parents were asked to give money to the girls family claimed as stridhan without any bills - They have not become police officers just like that, they know the LAWS very well and LAW states that women never lie when it comes to claiming stridhan. My brother tried to become little smarter and filed an FIR against the girl - Little did he know that hes committing a crime, how can a postgraduate, convent educated girl harass or blackmail anybody Stupid Guy
