PM Must Talk Tough or Else Togadia May Become Hero:

Today morning the RamJanma Bhumi Campus was attacked by few terrorists. The initial laxity by the security forces  was made up by the brave defense and all the terrorists were killed very soon. The driver of the vehicle used has been arrested. The interrogation will subsequently reveal the designs and the forces involved in the attack.

Though the nation is enraged, the political reactions have started pouring in. RSS has till now given a very restrained statement and so has BJP. But the morning session has been hijacked by the fiery Togadia. In a almost open address to the nation(thanks to media) he exhorted the country on the need to march towards Rawalpindi.

Togadia has got the right issue at right time. Only yesterday he moved a motion in the extraordinary meeting of RSS to condemn Advani on his stand on Jinnah. When RSS was struggling to cope with the issue of Advani and the media reports were that after the exit of Kulkarni, the political secretary of Advani, RSS may have provided some breather to him, this gory incident will definitely help the hardliner like Togagia. It may not be surprising that even Advani may have to take a hard stand now. The fence sitters in the BJP may too tilt towards hard-line as the exploitation of this issue may again help BJP in its revival. Whatever will happen will happen as a fact of the political life and the nature of the political parties is always to exploit such issues to the hilt. But a more serious movement will be the mileage which Togadia may get. At a personal level he may use this event to become the biggest champion of Hindus. He would like to convince his fellow colleagues by saying ”see what I said is correct. Even when I said Advani is a traitor then that too was correct. You didn’t believe but now you have to”. And unfortunately nobody will have a convincing answer to the half baked and dangerous theory of Togadia.

The present composition of the UPA and its  government which includes(  President being a Muslim) a sikh Prime Minister and a christen UPA chairperson to whom the congress strategist project ahead of PM so much so that she inaugurates all the important projects, goes to every place whether Himachal or Gujrat for inspection of natural calamities before PM and to whom the Ministers of GOI seem to be more obedient in the TV then to the gentle and polite PM( to the extent that at times it gives a feeling that the PM is loosing his authority). PM and UPA chairperson will have to make extra efforts  take the  Hindu community into confidence. There is little doubt about the secular credentials of either of the three but given the conditions that during the last few days especial efforts have been made by Paswan in asking to be a muslim as Chief Minister of Bihar, YSR Reddy inreserving 5% jobs in Government and seats in academic institutions(CM Andhra) and Arjun Singh in minority appeasement there seems very little political space left to convince the Hindu majority.

The balancing needle seems to have been shifting away from zero when we consider the stands taken by the secular parties on the issue of Imrana( except CPM which has taken a rational stand). It seems that all the secular parties are in a hurry and have forgotten the role of balancing both the communities by playing an impartial/objective and neutral role as per the constitution. It is this environment which may be exploited by Togadia.

The growth of Togadia will be dangerous for not only the secular character of the country but will also harm the recent(since Mr. Vajpeyi’s regime) thaw in relationship between the two communities after Gujrat incidents and seemingly growing interaction between India and Pakistan. Togadia will be dangerous for BJP itself and for the new realization in Mr. Advani to change the direction of the party to a more acceptable one by even the minority community.

Hence, there is a need for the PM to come out more vociferously against terrorism and terrorists. He must reassure the Hindus and Muslims that the peace and harmony shall be maintained at all cost and at no cost the religious sentiments of any community will be allowed to be hurt. In this case the Hindus need more emotional support. Even the Muslims should come out openly and as never before to support the Hindu sentiments. Discussion with Pakistan may be immediately suspended and should be resumed only when support to terrorism against India by Pakistani State is wiped out(even though if it is known that the attack on RamjanmaBhumi might have been done to destabilize the peace process between the two countries because the support to terrorism against India by Pakistan has not stopped in any case which shows lack of sincerity by Pak ). US may be told in no uncertain terms that the global fight against terrorism can’t be lopsided and favouring only US. AS of now all parties may contribute to maintaining peace and tranquility in the nation.

Your criticism of togadia is not very balanced

Togadia does represent a very outspoken and crystal clear approach instead of diplomatic [political] dramatics, and his style is very overbearing yet he is not telling anything that is fantasy or fake like so called shameless secularists proclaim whole day.

I am sick and tired of these whitewashed secularists appeasing the unqualified minorities and ignoring the patient and good people of Hindu majority.

Your critism of Togadia is an insult probably out of your fear that he is a bit apolitical. Listen someone out there SAYS clearly that king has no clothes.
